Many design groups in Korea that are work in various fields are
working up & developing their design field with taking a triangular position their value.
The first exhibition of 'Design flu:' was planed to work up constantly
and mutate design by coming to a mutual understanding and co-work each other.
The 'Design flu' participated six design groups will show
their products, space, new media, furniture and lightings by liberal process.
Besides them, we are planing designer's presentation and party.

'Horror party!' - 2nd exhibition of OneplusZ starts from resistance to mass production
that are just good for making, just good for use and just good for looking.
   We will show new experience that we hadn't experience from mass production

Design is AIR - Design is the energy of life!

SDO 2008 has selected "Design is AIR" as its theme and will discuss and explore
the existence of design which has a likeness to air; air is always near us, but never reveals itself,
and is deeply connected to the lives of people and nature.
SDO will also look into design as an energy that coexists with nature’s elements of earth,
water and wind. Just like air that flows through empty space, design can be referred to
as the energy of life that flows through
people's lives. Design in the 20th century was referred to “earth”, and now design
in the 21st century is “air.” Digital technology of the new century goes beyond the
boundaries of material and non-material and unfolds a new world of connectivity and
convergence. At SDO 2008 one can enjoy design as easy as breathing air.

Comprised of
Newly discovered talents and invited designers will exhibit innovative designs utilizing
the characteristics of materials used,
overcoming the boundaries of media, engineering, and design.
An exhibition by world class designers, a green design exhibition, and interactive
design works present the vitality, expansion, convergence and endless energy of a new world of design.
Items will be exhibited under the themes of Text Garden, AIR Garden, Love Balcony and New Air.

Exhibition contents Love Balcony by Ross Lovegrobe’s Solar Tree, AIR Text(Collection of Text Message), Breathing Materials, Air communication.
